These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between your business and SOHOON Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”) for using getbarberpos, our hosted point-of-sale and shop system for barbershops, and the getbarberpos.com website.
By creating an account, starting a trial or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are signing up for a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms were last updated on October 18, 2026.
The service
getbarberpos is software you use in a web browser on a tablet, laptop or phone. It covers the walk-in queue, appointments and online booking, booth rent tracking, tips and commission per barber, retail and stock, client cards, reports, an online store built from your products, and related features described on our site.
We provide the software. We do not process card payments. getbarberpos works with your card processor, and your payments are handled under your own agreement with that processor.
We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we remove a feature that is a main part of your plan, we will give you notice and, where it makes sense, a way to export related data.
Who can use it
The service is for businesses, not personal or household use. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract where you live.
Your account
- Give us accurate details when you sign up and keep them current.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your staff do with the logins you give them.
- Use the staff roles and permissions to control who sees what. Remove access when someone leaves.
- Tell us right away at if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
Free trial
New accounts get a free trial of 30 days. No card is needed to start. At the end of the trial, you choose a plan to keep going. If you do not, the account pauses and nothing is charged. We may limit trials to one per business and end a trial that is being misused.
Plans, billing and price changes
- Plans and prices are listed on our pricing page and vary by country. Prices are shown in your local currency and may not include taxes.
- Billing cycles. You can pay monthly or annually. Annual plans are paid up front for the year.
- No long contracts. There is no minimum term beyond the billing cycle you pick.
- Automatic renewal. Your plan renews at the end of each cycle until you cancel.
- Taxes. Sales tax, VAT or other taxes are added where the law requires.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will let you know and try again. If it is not fixed, we may limit or pause the account until it is.
- Price changes. We may change prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app before a new price applies to you. The new price starts from your next renewal after the notice period. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
Refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. After that, your data stays available for export for 30 days, then it is deleted.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, that puts other customers or the service at risk, or that has unpaid charges. Where it is reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Your responsibilities as a shop
You run your business; we provide the tool. That means you are responsible for:
- Tax. Setting the right tax rates in the system, charging and filing sales tax or VAT, and reporting income. The software calculates what you configure; it does not give tax advice.
- Licences and permits. Holding the barbering, business and trade licences your city, state, emirate or province requires.
- Your card processor agreement. Following the terms of your payment processor and the card network rules, including keeping card data out of notes and other free-text fields.
- Tips, booth rent and staff pay. Following the law on tip reporting, tip pooling, minimum wage, worker classification (employee or booth renter) and payroll. For example, in the US, see IRS tip recordkeeping and reporting guidance (opens in a new tab). The booth rent ledger and tip reports are records to help you; they are not a legal ruling on how someone should be classified or taxed.
- Your customers’ data. Having a lawful reason to store your clients’ details, telling them how you use their data, and responding to their privacy requests. See our Privacy Policy.
- Messages you send. Getting consent before sending marketing texts, WhatsApp messages or emails, and following anti-spam laws. Reminders go out through your own messaging provider.
- Your equipment and internet. The service runs in the browser and needs a working internet connection.
Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no unlawful use, no spam, no storing card numbers in free-text fields, no abuse of staff or client data, no attempts to break into the service and no reselling without a partner agreement.
Your data
- You own your data. Everything you and your staff put into getbarberpos, including client records, sales, products and reports, belongs to your business.
- We use it only to provide the service, to support you, to keep the service secure and as the law requires. We do not sell it.
- Export. You can export your main records (for example, products and clients) from the app, and you can ask us for a full export at any time, including within 30 days after cancellation.
- Processor role. For your customers’ personal data, we act as your processor or service provider, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our intellectual property
The getbarberpos software, website, brand, designs and content are owned by SOHOON Technologies or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your business during your subscription. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the software, except where the law expressly allows it.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
Third-party services
You may connect getbarberpos to third-party tools such as your card processor, messaging provider or accounting software. Those tools are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them, their availability or their fees.
Availability and support
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep getbarberpos available and working. There may be planned maintenance (we try to schedule it outside busy shop hours and give notice) and unplanned outages. We do not offer a specific uptime guarantee or service credit unless we agree one with you in writing.
Support is available by form and email during the hours listed on our contact page.
Disclaimers

We do not promise the service will be error-free or uninterrupted. Reports and calculations depend on the data and settings you enter, so check them before relying on them for tax or payroll. More on this in our Disclaimer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- Neither side is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost business, even if warned they might happen.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as fraud or, in some places, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of your data, your use of the service in breach of these Terms or the law, or your dealings with your customers, staff or booth renters.
Copyright and takedown notices
We respect intellectual property. If you believe content on getbarberpos.com, or content a merchant hosts through the service (such as an online store page or product photo), infringes your copyright, send a notice to with:
- your name and contact details;
- a description of the copyrighted work;
- where the infringing material appears (page address or store name);

- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable the material and tell the merchant who posted it. The merchant can send a counter-notice explaining why the material should be restored. If they do, we may restore it after the period the law requires unless the complainant tells us they have started legal action. We close the accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using the service after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
Governing law and disputes
The governing law and the courts that will hear disputes under these Terms are still being finalized, and the owner will confirm the jurisdiction on this page. Until then, we ask that you contact us first at so we can try to resolve any problem directly and in good faith. Nothing in this section takes away consumer or business protections that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

- If one part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- You may not transfer your account without our written consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a merger or sale of the business.
