FAQ · 8 questions
Feature questions
Q01What should barbershop software do?
It should run the floor (walk-ins and appointments), pay people correctly (booth rent, commission, tips), sell retail with stock, remember clients, and give you an end-of-day report. getbarberpos does each of those in one system.
Q02Are all features included on every plan?
The core — walk-ins, appointments, tips, client cards, retail and the online store — is on every plan. Booth rent, commission rules and staff permissions start on Full Shop because a one-chair account does not need them. Multi-Shop adds locations and cross-shop reports.
Q03Is there a separate app for barbers?
Barbers use the same system on a phone or the station tablet, with permissions you set. They see their own queue, book and payouts, not the shop’s full numbers.
Q04Can clients book online?
Yes. Each barber gets a booking page with services, durations and buffers. Walk-ins and online bookings share one board so nobody is double-booked.
Q05Does it work on an iPad or Android tablet?
Yes. It runs in the browser, so any modern tablet, laptop or phone works. A mobile app is available too.
Q06Can I turn off features I don’t use?
Yes. Staff permissions and settings let you hide modules — for example, a commission-only shop can ignore booth rent entirely.
Q07Does it handle VAT and sales tax?
Yes. You set tax rates and groups per location, shown inclusive (as in the UAE) or added at checkout (as in the US and Pakistan).
Q08What features are on the way?
We don’t publish a roadmap with dates we can’t promise. Ask on a demo about anything you need and we will tell you plainly whether it exists today.
